Michael opened the meeting looking for volunteers to contact people that had originally expressed interest in the group. Several people agreed to help out.

Jerome gave the following ideas for fund-raising:

• T-Shirts with corporate logos or ads, possibly also for concerts, et al
• Having a joint even with Kappa Kappa Psi and/or Tau Beta Sigma this Summer

It was expressed that giving a portion of the monies earned back to the DeKalb School of the Arts for their hospitality.

Also expressed were ideas to get our name out in the community, to Brothers that may not be on the list serve or receiving the national newsletters. These include:

• Marching in the 2009 Martin Luther King, Jr. March
• Marching in the 2008 Pride Parade

Wes Taylor gave a presentation on Alpha.
